Barbara Ann “Pat”‘s Obituary Barbara Ann “Pat” Truitt, age 88, of Casey, IL formerly of Champaign and Paxton, IL passed away at 5:50 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Heartland Nursing Center, Casey, IL. She was born January 14, 1931 in Champaign, IL, the daughter of Burdett Leroy Fletcher and Jessie Blanche Eveland Fletcher. On November 22, 1952 she married Richard Lee Truitt; he passed away on December 15, 2004.

Survivors include her daughter, Sue Ellen Brimm (Herschel) of Urbana, IL; grandson, Richard W. Harris of Urbana, IL; granddaughters, Heather Gollihur (William) of Rantoul, IL and Jeri Osterbur (Todd) of Indianapolis, IN; three grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Carolyn Batchelor, Delora Vaughn and Avis Sigmund and one great grandchild. Mrs. Truitt was a former dietary aid at Illinois Knights Templar Home, Paxton, IL.

She attended Redhill Lutheran Church, Tustin, CA and Trinity Lutheran Church, Casey, IL and was a member of Women of the Moose in Casey, IL. Dick and Pat loved spending time camping; they especially enjoyed the time they spent at Sherwood Forest in Martinsville, IL. At her request there will be no services.
