Obituary for Barbara Ann Polcyn Barbara Ann Polcyn, age 75 of Algonac, passed away on May 22, 2018, in her home, with her family by her side after a short illness with lung cancer that spread to her brain. She was born on December 22, 1942, in Detroit, to the late LeRoy and Olive McVicar. Barbara was an avid bowler and loved hunting, fishing and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her long-time fiancé, Norman “Ty” Sneath, daughters, Lisamarie (Craig) Tessier and Barbara Karen Tessier-Saputo, grandchildren, Adriana Maria and Angelina Francesca, brother, Tom McVicar and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Joseph Polcyn. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
