She was born December 16, 1937, in Homeland, Florida to the late Daniel and Vera (Sullivan) Hall. She has been a long-time resident of Frostproof and was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Fellowship Church in Frostproof, FL.

Proceeded in death by daughter, Melissa A. Young. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Charles Wesley Young; children, Charles W. (Wes) Young II of Frostproof, FL, Daniel L. (Dee) Young and his wife Angela of Richmond, VA, Alice M. ( Amy) Young of Frostproof, FL, Colin F. (Cole) Young and his wife Karen of Frostproof, FL, Mary A. (Mary)Young of Frostproof, FL and Suzanne N. (Suzanne) Young of Cleveland, TN; brothers, Danny Hall of Debary, FL and Teddy Hall and his wife Hope of Cleveland, TN, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Emmanuel Baptist Fellowship Church 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 27, 2019.
