Barbara M. Burger of Sayre, PA was born March 12, 1933 in Indiana, PA. She is the daughter of the late Floyd Daniel and Clarissa (Tyger). Barbara passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Robert Packer Hospital, at the age of 85.

She is survived by her loving nieces, Pamela (Ronald) Wolfe of Orlando, FL; Margaret Propeck of Goldbar, WA; Rita (Brett) Southard of South Carolina; along with 13 adored grand-nieces and nephews, and 3 much-loved great grand nieces. Barbara retired from Robert Packard Hospital as an Emergency Room RN, and retired U.S. Navy as an RN, U.S. Army as an RN, and a Master Sargent. She was an avid bowler, member of the WIBC Queens, and charter member of WIBC for 25 years.

Her devotion to the community and God were most important to her. She was an active member of the local Veterans Administration, and participated in many of their events. Interment will take place on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 12PM, in the Vaughn Cemetery, Mehoopany, PA with military honors.
