Obituary for Barbara Ellen (nee Cox) Harrington Barbara Ellen Harrington (nee Cox), resident of Lawrenceburg, IN, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at the age of 67. She was born in Jellico, TN on March 23, 1951 to Millard Sr. and Anna (nee Brinn) Cox. She married Bernard Harrington on March 7, 1975.

They enjoyed many wonderful years together and were blessed with four sons: Alan, Kirk, Mark, and Bernard. Barbara enjoyed cooking and baking and liked to teach her skills to her grandchildren. She also liked to teach her grandchildren how to use the computer.

She loved drinking a good cup of coffee and going the movie theater to enjoy a good film as well. Those who will miss Barbara most are her loving children: Alan (Jennifer) Harrington, Kirk (Brittany) Harrington, and Mark (Randy Burwell) Harrington; grandchildren: Eric, Emily, Liam, Lillian, Hallie, Chance, Abbie, Cohen, Avery, Katelyn, and Caleb; and Siblings: Sheila (Doug) Ross, and Clyde (Patricia “Sis”) Cox; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Bernie Harrington, son Bernard Eric Harrington; and siblings: Willie, Joe, Millard “Jr”.

, and David Cox. Visitation will be held in St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross in Bright, IN on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 PM.
