OBITUARY Barbara Ellen Phillips April 10, 1940 – July 17, 2018 Barb Phillips, Age 78, Coon Rapids, MN. She was born in Minneapolis on April 10th, 1940 and left this earth on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Astrid (Swanson) Blackburn; Father, Fred Ramin; Step-mother, Marian Ramin; Sister, Carole Parker and Half-brother, Richard Ramin.

She will be forever cherished by her Loving Husband, John; Children, Cindy (Gary) Hess, Sandra (Todd) DeMarais, Tim (Rhonda) Phillips, Tammy (Eric) Hendrickson; Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren, Tiffany – children, Matthew, Trevor; Mellissa – children, Samuel, Jack; Stephanie – children, Aiden, Ava, Everly; Jake (Emily) – children, Oliver, Waylon; Jacqueline – children, Emilie, Lydia, LaSander; Miranda – children, Kaylee, Christian, Cory; Blake (April) – child, Layton; Mallory – children, Conner, Brooklyn; Tyler (Kristin) – children, Calvin, Brynn; Derek; Brandon (Haley Weed) – child, Jackson; Jessica (Alex); Madison – children, Cameron, Kadyn; and Morgan, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. Barb retired from AT & T at the age of 58 in 1998 and attended Anoka Technical College and received an Associate of Applied Sciences in accounting. She loved cross-stich and she made many gifts for her children and grandchildren.

Also, an accomplished seamstress she sewed clothes, and wedding attire for family and friends. She also had a special gift when shopping to pick out the perfect gift for each of her loved ones. She loved to travel and did so often with her husband and four children as they were growing up.

Some of her very favorite places that she visited with her husband were Alaska, Mexico, and Hawaii. ~A Gathering of Family and Friends~ 10AM Monday July 23, 2018 at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Boulevard Northwest, Coon Rapids, Minnesota with a celebration of life at 11AM.
