Barbara Gail Knight September 14, 1957 – February 05, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries Mrs. Barbara Gail Knight, 61, of Trumann departed this life on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Mrs. Knight was born in and a lifetime resident of Lunsford. She was a housewife and a member of Lunsford Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Kay Batten; her grandparents William and Artie Crews, and William and Margaret Batten; a special uncle Alfred Jackson “Squint” Batten and her parents, Hubert and Madlyn Crews Batten. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Buren T. Knight, Jr. of the home; one sister, Charlotte Porterfield and husband Pete of Lunsford’ and one brother, Jimmy Nelson and wife Jeanie of Foley, Ala. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Lunsford Baptist Church, 109 Highway 69, Lunsford.

A celebration of her life will follow at 6:00 p.m. at Lunsford Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Langston officiating. Graveside will be Friday at 12:00 noon in Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, AR.

Pallbearers will be Larry Smith, Rob Kincaid, Jason Taggart, William McMasters, John Magee, Matt Emerson, Men Adult Sunday School Class, Ladies Adult Sunday School Class, Tommy Davis and Donnie Hutcheson. An online register book can be signed at www. thompsonfuneralhome.net.
