Barbara Jean Wharton passed away on March 22, 2019. She was born in Cleveland on January 10, 1949 to the late Stanley and Nora Wharton (nee Ashbourne). Barbara is survived by her five loving children Nora Martin (Randy), Kenny Burnette, Barbara Pilot, Johnny Burnette, Goldie Burrows (Jason Reel).

She is also survived by her four loving grandchildren, Dallas Burcham, Samantha Reel, Christine Diamond and Tylor Reel (Tyreece Williams) and many more she adopted along the way. Barbara had a silly spirit that was unmatched to her loving and fun personality. She was a firm believer in Jesus Christ and enjoyed listening to her Gospel music any chance she got.

She also enjoyed caring for many animals in her lifetime. She was a proud and loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her life partner of 21 years, Phillip G. Martin, “Cowboy”.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 10am to 11am at Willo-Lake Church of Nazarene, 34950 Lakeshore Blvd, Willoughby. A Funeral Service will be held at 11am also at the church. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Bedford Hts.
