Barbara Joan Ivins October 13, 1939 – January 15, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Barbara Joan (Clayton) Ivins 79 of Jamesburg died Tuesday January 15th at Centrastate Medical Center, Freehold. Born in Neptune, Mrs. Ivins lived in Jamesburg, moved to Appomattox, VA and returned to Jamesburg in 1989. She was employed for many years as a sorter for Revlon, Inc., Dayton.

She enjoyed knitting and doing needle point. Mrs. Ivins was predeceased by her husband George Harrison Ivins in 2011 and four brothers and sisters. Surviving are her four children George Ivins of Farmingdale, David Ivins of Neptune, Bryan Ivins of Jamesburg and Holly Powell of Jamesburg, her two sisters Nancy Gonzalez of Texas and Leslie Burger of Toms River, her brother Alfred Clayton of South Carolina, her four grandchildren Paul Ivins, Frederick Ivins, Jessie Powell and Kella MacPhee and her two great grandchildren Brad and Kaylee Ivins.
