Hardy; loving mother of Kathryn Hardy (Timothy) Tryon, Stephen (Arlene) Hardy, Elizabeth Hardy (David) Smith and Maurice Edward Hardy III; cherished grandmother of Lauren Smith (Dan) Byrd, Stephanie Smith and Shannon Tryon. Barbara attended Northwestern University and Loyola University of Chicago, graduating from the latter as a Magna Cum Laude recipient in 1979.
