Obituary for Barbara Lennartson SOUTHLAKE – Barbara Wilson Lennartson, 81, of Southlake, formerly of Upper St. Clair, Pa. , passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in Dallas. A memorial service to follow, date and location TBD.

Memorials: Contributions in her memory may be made to the National Stroke Association, www. stroke.org. Barbara was born in Dubois, Pa.

on June 13, 1936, to the late Fred and Lucy Wilson. Barbara graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School in 1955 (PA) and the University of Pittsburgh (MBA from Katz Business School) in 1976.

She began her professional career with Mellon Bank in 1976 and retired in 1996, as a VP of Quality Assurance. Barbara was an active member in the PTA for the Upper St. Clair, Pa. school system.

She was also a member of Westminster Church in Upper St. Clair, Pa. In recent years, Barbara enjoyed her time at the Watermere Retirement Village in Southlake. She and her friends were involved in some spirited battles playing Mahjong, Trivia and Poker.

She was married 60 years ago at the Mt. Lebanon United Presbyterian Church to James R. Lennartson Sr. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, age 81; and her brother, Thomas Wilson. Survivors: Daughter, Jennifer Lennartson of Upper St. Clair, Pa.

; son, James R. Lennartson Jr. of Layton, Utah; grandchildren, Jeff, Jack and Benny Greenberg and Chase, Grace and Bryce Lennartson; sister, Paula Wiley of New Cumberland, Pa. ; also numerous cousins, nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews. Barbara will be fondly remembered by her family, grandchildren and friends.
