Barbara Lou (Dasher) Robertson, 91, Devoted mother and grandmother, passed away Monday, February 4th, 2019 at Princeton Hospital with family by her side. Barbara (Barb) was born September 30th, 1927 in Oskaloosa Iowa to the late Frank and Agnes Dasher. Barb enjoyed bowling, golf, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.

One of Barb’s greatest joys were her 3 “holes-in-one” she achieved playing golf and being able to hold it up to her husband. Barb married James Robertson July 1947 and together they enjoyed 49 years of marriage before his passing in June 1997. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce M. Kiesling August 2009 and her sister, Donna Dawson July 2017, brother-law Dr. Clyde Weiland October 2015 and sister-law Virginia (Ginny) Weiland December 2018.

Barb is survived by her sister, Marilyn Houck of Mason City Iowa; her brother, John (Linda) Dasher of Wisconsin; sons, James (Matt McNutt) Robertson of Ohio, Richard (Susan) Robertson of Oregon; daughter, Jeanie (John) Anderson of Minnesota. She has eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, which brought her multiple years of pleasure and joy watching them grow and spending time with her. She is also survived by her best friend and constant companion for years Sara Lou, her faithful Yorke.

The family would like to thank the staff and faculty at Guardian Angels by the Lake for the years of service and care they provided to Barb and for allowing her to share Sara Lou with the others at the facility. Services will be Friday, February 8, 2019 1PM at Dare’s Funeral Home 805 Main St. NW Elk River with visitation from 12 noon to 1 PM. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, James at Orono Cemetery following the services.
