Barbara Ruth Young Brown age 88, of Rossville, Georgia went home to be with The Lord Saturday- February 16, 2019. She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Dock Harvey and Jeannie Mary Elizabeth Henry Brown. She was a lifelong resident of Walker County and a member of Wallaceville Baptist Church.

She graduated from Rossville High School. She enjoyed quilting, flowers, and bird watching. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Ross “Robin” Allen Brown; siblings, Harvey Young, Ed Young, Jim Young, Mackie Tarvin, Alline Holdiness.

She is survived by her children: Pamella (Skip)Poole, David (Kim) Brown all of Chickamauga, GA, grandchildren: Shawn (Leann) Brown of Chickamauga, GA, Erin Mae Brown of Knoxville, TN, great-grandchild: Kaylee Brown, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral services and burial will be private. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Homes – Chickamauga Chapel.
