Obituary of Barbara Ann Markley Barbara Ann Markley, 83 years, of Plymouth Meeting, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Friday March 8, 2019 at her home. She was born on Saturday November 2, 1935 in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late George and the late Anna (née Groves) Minges. Barbara enjoyed spending time with friends and family and loved to travel to the shore and Florida.

Barbara was preceded in death by husband, Robert Markley and fiance Joseph McFadden. She is survived by sons Steven R. (Laura), John A. (Susan), Andrew G. (Ann) and Michael D. (Colleen) Markley. Grandmother of Dawn, Angela, Benjamin, John, Alexa, Faith, Joseph, Brooke, Nathan and Kyle.

Great Grandmother to Makenzie, Sawyer and Ivy. Loving sister of George (Dossie) Minges and pre-deceased by sister Jeanne and brother John. Barbara’s Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, Mar 13 at 10:00 AM at Lownes Family Funeral Home 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill Her Viewing will be held on Wednesday, Mar 13 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the funeral home before the service Barbara’s Interment will take place following the service at Oakland Cemetery Adams Ave & Ramona Ave, Philadelphia In lieu of flowers being sent to the service, instead please send flowers to bring joy to a special person in your life.
