Obituary for Barbara Schellhammer (Schellhammer) Highland Lakes; Barbara Schellhammer, 77, passed away on Sunday September 16, 2018. Barbara was born on March 7, 1941 in the Bronx, NY to Walter and Adelaide (nee Samide) Schellhammer. Barbara has a resident of Highland Lakes the last 40 years.

Barbara was a graduate from Clifton High School and began working for Bell Telephone at 18 years old, she retired as a Assistant Manager and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was also a part time worker at the Highland Lakes Clubhouse. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Walter Schellhammer.

Barbara is survived by a niece, Laura Schellhammer, a nephew, Bret Schellhammer and a great nephew, Jayden Fisher of Kinnelon, NJ, also survived by her longtime and dear friend, Barbara Bobbie Giovan of Highland Lakes, NJ. Funeral services are private. Memorial donations in her memory to, Vernon Animal Shelter, Riggs Way, Vernon, NJ 07462.
