OBITUARY Barbie Sauls Charles August 29, 1971 – January 15, 2019 Barbie Sauls Charles, age 47, resident of Salem, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Bethany House, Auburn, Alabama. Funeral services are scheduled at Lakewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, Alabama on Saturday, January 19, 2019, 2 p.m. with Pastor Jody McAllister officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 12 noon till 2 p.m. Mrs. Charles, daughter of Barbara Diane Pope Sauls and the late Donald Huey Sauls, was born August 29, 1971 in Phenix City, Alabama. She attended Courts of Praise Worship Center in Phenix City and operated Ad Grafix, Salem, Alabama. Mrs. Charles was a strong and loving lady who enjoyed spending time with her children.

Other than her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Doak. She is survived by her husband, Scott Duncan of Salem, Alabama; her mother, Diane Sauls of Columbus, Georgia; two daughters, Meagan Aughtman and her husband Dakota of Cordele, Georgia and Morgan Charles of Salem, Alabama; one sister, Laurie Sauls Forbes of Smiths, Alabama; nieces; nephews; many other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation at www.

nationalbreastcancer.org. FAMILY Donald Huey Sauls, Father Diane Sauls, Mother Scott Duncan, Husband Meagan (Dakota) Aughtman, Daughter Morgan Charles, Daughter Laurie Sauls Forbes, Sister Mrs. Charles also leaves nieces; nephews; many other relatives and friends to cherish her memory.
