Barry Leon Jordan, age 61, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at his residence. Mr. Jordan was born in Atlanta, GA, on May 3, 1957, to Leon Harvey and Norma Shawker Jordan. He was self-employed as a master carpenter and was also a mechanic.

Mr. Jordan enjoyed traveling as well as hunting and fishing. He loved his land and living in Georgia. He got along with everyone and made friends easily.

Mr. Jordan loved his children. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Nathan and Jody Jordan and by a daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Monte Monfore all of Lee’s Summit, MO; a brother, Craig Jordan of Defuniak Springs, FL, and three sisters, Vera Litvack of Boca Raton, FL, Linda Poag of Vero Beach, FL, and Brenda Candeloro of Ft.

Worth, TX. Four grandchildren, Matthew Monfore, Miles Monfore, Lydia Jordan, and Oliver Jordan also survive. Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
