Obituary for Barry S. Uhland Sr. Barry S. Uhland Sr. aged 69 years of Bridgeton passed away suddenly Monday November 26, 2018 in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. Although he had been in declining health, his death was unexpected. Born in Bridgeton, he was the son of the late Emil and Mary (nee Stephenson) Uhland.

Barry was employed with the Federal Correctional Institute in Fairton for several years until his health declined. He also was formerly self employed, starting a business “Picture This” in his basement which later led to The Irongate Frame Shop, in Bridgeton. He also previously worked at Owens and Minor in Bridgeton.

He was a graduate of Wilmington College, where he earned a degree in Business, he was also a proud veteran of the US Airforce. He was an exceptional athlete, and he loved basketball. Barry is survived by his children Stephanie Bohn of Wyoming PA, and Barry Stephen Uhland Jr. of Wilmington, DE, a sister Sue Uhland Gildea of Delaware, his grandson Jacksen Uhland, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Thomas Lloyd and sister Judy Tuso. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Monday December 3, 2018 at 1:00p.m. from the SRAY-WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 62 Landis Ave. at Carll’s Corner, Upper Deerfield Twp.
