Obituary of Barton Frederick Barton K. Frederick Age 84, of Woodbury, NJ died on Tuesday morning, November 27, 2018. Born to Mary E. and Miles L. Frederick on August 6, 1934, in Reading, PA, he is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara A. Frederick; his daughter, Elizabeth Frederick Peldunas and her husband Brian of Riverside, CT; his son, Bart Frederick of Downingtown, PA; his granddaughter Julia; his sister, Liane Frederick DiGrazia of Mechanicsville, VA and 11 nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother A. Bruce Frederick.

Bart proudly served in the U.S. Army, 2nd Armored Cavalry, in Germany after graduating from the University of Delaware. He worked first as a chemist for DuPont and then spent 30 years with Wyeth–Ayerst Laboratories in Malvern, PA. He was a Woodbury resident for 57 years and was proud of reaching the Red Cross’ 25-gallon blood donation club.

Bart enjoyed a good pun, snacking on pretzels, tackling projects around the house on N. Maple Street and the cottage at Lake Gilman, and relaxing with a cat or two on his lap. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Monday, December 3, 2018, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home – 34 Hunter St., Woodbury, NJ 08096. A funeral ceremony will follow at 2:00 PM.

Interment will be held privately.
