Zion she served in the Hymn Choir, Pastor Aide ( Now Seed Sowing Ministry ), Ushers and Mission Ministries. She was the founder of the Mt. Zion Gospel Choir.

For a short tenure, she held membership at Galilee Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Jeffery Davis. Her Hobbies included cooking, gardening, fishing and loving her family. A Time to Cherish: She leaves to cherish her memories: sons, Larry Thames (Brandi), William Thames (Diane), Joseph and Johnny, Jr. Wiley, all of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Daughters, Rosa Lee Pauley, Lena Mae Thames, and Corrine Wallace, all of Charlotte, NC. Three brothers, Elijah Pauley, Leslie and Barry Pauley, all of Darlington, SC. One sister Mamie Dixon (Ray) of Darlington, SC.

Twelve grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and a lot of extended family including Galilee Church Family and Capitol Drive Family.
