Belvagean’s Obituary Belvagean McGough was born into this life on July 12, 1948 in Prescott, Arkansas Willie and Emma Lou Reeves McGough. She attended McRae High School and accepted Christ at a tender age. She married Mitchel Wafer on April 26, 1975 and the Lord blessed this union with a blended family of five children, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Her most prized possession was her family. She was sweet and loving; also slow to anger, putting others first. She worked several jobs in customer service which afforded the opportunity to make friends with everyone.

She was a listening ear and offered wise counsel. She was that familiar face at Dollar General in Prescott and Dollar Tree in Hope. Belvagean was a member of Kingdom Authority Christian Ministries in Gurdon.

She enjoyed cooking and listening to gospel music. On February 27, 2019, passed from this walk of life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Emma Lou McGough; a grandson, Kedre’us D. Norvell; a great-grandson, Adrian M. Fulks and a son-in-law, Melvin McPeak.

Although we will miss our beloved, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend; we do not mourn as others who have no hope, for we believe that a day of rejoicing will soon come. Until that time her memory will forever be cherished in the heart of her husband, Mitchel Wafer of Emmet, AR; her children, Jacqueline McPeak of Gurdon, AR, Ernest Norvell of Hope, AR, Robert (Patricia) Norvell of Arkadelphia, Monte (Kim) Hayes of Hope, and LaShiro (Herbert) Bell of Gurdon; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Sanderson of Temple, TX, Linda Thorn of Prescott, AR and Marilyn (John Walker) of Prescott, AR; three brothers, Willie (Lisa) McGough of Prescott, AR, Horace (Julie) McGough of Rockton, IL and James Mixon of Prescott, AR. She also leaves a caravan of nieces, nephews, other relatives, numerous friends and the KACM family.
