Ben Campbell Delaney age 78, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Wednesday – February 6, 2019. He was born in Ooltewah, Tennessee to the late James Henry and Thelma Naomi Woods Delaney. He was a resident of Ringgold for the past forty-nine years and enjoyed working on lawn mowers, gardening and fishing.

He retired from U.S. Pipe and Foundry after twenty-eight years of employment. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: Alvin Delaney. He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years: Peggy Rush Delaney of Ringgold, GA, daughter: Delana (Darrell) Raymond of Colonial Heights, VA, sons: David (Brooke) Delaney, Daniel Delaney all of Ringgold, GA, sister: Gladys Johnson of Rossville, GA, five grandchildren: Seth Raymond, Katie, Alyssa, Isiah and Ava Delaney, several nieces and nephews.
