OBITUARY Benigno “Benny” Piña Maldonado July 28, 1930 – December 11, 2018 PIÑA MALDONADO, Benigno “Benny”, 88, passed away December 11, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to the late Casiano Piña and Ezequiela Maldonado. He was a skilled craftsmen in woodworking, enjoyed music, and loved to fish.

He was a founder of Maranatha Assembly of God Church. He is preceded in death by many siblings and 1 daughter. Benny is survived by Angela, his beloved wife of 36 years, 8 biological children, 3 step daughters; Angela Leanor Murgas, Rita Roman (Ralph), Anita Capdevila (Luis), brother Armando Piña, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held 2pm, Tuesday, December 18th, with a funeral service being conducted at 3pm, at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
