Obituary for Benjamin Salaiz, Jr Benjamin Salaiz, Jr., 66, passed away in El Paso, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife, Norma Salaiz, daughters, Jessica Melendez (Jesus), Rebekah Garcia (Rafael), Patricia Jensen (Vincent), five grandchildren, mother, Alicia Salaiz, brother, James Salaiz, and sister, Emma Hyder. Benjamin proudly served in the United States Air Force and was an avid Dallas Cowboy Fan.

A visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr. with a vigil/rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 26, 2018 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Jesus Melendez, Rafael Garcia, Vincent Jensen, James Salaiz, Victor Armendariz and Diego Martinez.
