Childres; Loving father of Craig Childres and his wife Christine; Cherished grandfather of Steven and Ryan Childres; Devoted brother of Gail Houpt and her daughter Gwyn Houpt of Celebration, Florida; Dear step father of Michael Smith. Also survived by his cousin Donald McKinney of Marion, N.C. A private cremation was held. A memorial service will be held at a later date and time.
