Bernadette A. “Bernie” (Mercuri) Sobek Peacefully, on Monday, December 31, 2018, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour and is now reunited with her loving husband Bernie. A daughter of the late Angelo and Caterina Mercuri. She enjoyed feeding hummingbirds, gardnening, cooking and reading.

She loved her family most of all. Wife of the late Bernard J. “Bernie” Sobek. Beloved mother of Richard “Rick” (Joni) Sobek, Christopher “Chris” Sobek, Gina Sobek and the late Philip Sobek.

Devoted grandmother of Lauren Sobek. Sister of Angie (late Leonard) Nazzario, the late Grace (Dwight) Parks, Antoinette (Jay) Witt, Alfred (Dorothy) Mercuri, Nancy (Anthony) Castagnola and Frank Mercuri. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and all who loved her.

Family and friends welcomed in the Alfieri Funeral Home Inc., 201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, Pa 15148, 412-824-4332 on Thursday, 2-8pm. Additional visitation on Friday from 9am until time of service at 10am. Entombment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
