Bernadette Sardo (Carroll) age 87, of Bridgeport, born in Liverpool England has passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Anyone who knew her knew she was a kind loving soul who would do anything for anyone. Her greatest love in life was her family and friends and she was known for her large heart and empathy for animals.

She was loved and adored by all who were Blessed to be part of her life. She was like a second mother to all who knew her, she was always willing to give her advice or opinion (whether you wanted it or not) share all of her knowledge about life or simply just lend a helping hand or a listening ear. She enjoyed a great conversation and would spend hours talking on the phone.

She loved with great passion, and never forgot to leave her signature pink lipstick on your cheek after saying hello to you. Her kindness and contagious smile will be greatly missed by all her Family and. Friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Monday at 10:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd.

Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. at St Theresa Church, 5301 Main St. Trumbull. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 2- 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Bridgeport Animal Rescue, 857 Post Road #235 Fairfield, CT 06824 in her honor.
