Rychlik of Reading died December 31, 2018 at the Winchester Hospital in Winchester, Massachusetts. He was 91 years of age. Bernard was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on September 16, 1927 the son of the late Frank J. and Genevieve (Kazmierczyk) Rychlik.

Bernard was the beloved husband of Josephine (Avola) Rychlik. Devoted father of Bernard A. Rychlik, Jr and his wife Lisa of Loveland, OH; Michael F. Rychlik of Mansfield; Mary J. Zacharias and her husband Russ of Chester NH; Christopher A. Rychlik of Reading; Carla A. Jenks and her husband Corey of Wilmington; and Carl A. Rychlik of Reading. Cherished brother of Eleanor Rychlik of Chelsea and the late Leonard Rychlik.

Loving grandfather of Jessica, Matthew, Caroline, and Cameron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 5 at 10:30am at St. Athanasius Church 300 Haverhill St. Reading. Burial to follow at Wood End Cemetery.

There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Bernard’s memory to the American Heart Assoc. PO Box 417005 Boston, MA 02241-7005 or Wingate at Reading 1364 Main St. Reading MA 01867.
