VERONA – Bernard “Bernie” Cooper, age 76, died on Thursday, March 7, 2019. Bernie was born on March 25, 1942 in Richland Center, WI to Bernard and Helen Cooper. Bernie married the love of his life, Sharon Hays, on September 19, 1992.

He was a local plumbing contractor since 1983 when he opened his own business, Cooper Plumbing. Bernie enjoyed hunting, fishing, his John Deere B, riding his Gold Wing motorcycle, and especially spending time with his family. Bernie will be greatly missed.

Bernie is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sharon; children, Brandon (Jenny), Rick, LeeAnn, and Kellie; step-children, Chuck (Tammy) Duff, and Dawn (Owen) Dockter; grandchildren, Logan, Wyatt, Alex, and Megan; sister, Donna (Chuck) Meinholz; and nephew, Ryan (Julie) Meinholz and James. He is preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Chad Meinholz. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11AM on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 220 Enterprise Drive, Verona.
