Bernard “Buck” Trickett, age 86, of Morgantown, entered his eternal glory on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of more than 50 years, Fay Joy “Doddie” Trickett , two sisters and his mother. He is survived by his nephew, James Rancjik, Jr. and his wife Melissa Rancjik, his great-niece, Ryiah Rancjik; his nephew Harry Livengood and his wife Diana Livengood; and three sisters-in-law, Jeanine Rancjik, Jean Todesko and Josephine Livengood.

Best known as “Buck”, he was born January 12, 1932 in Morgantown. He served our military in the Army and was last employed by the West Virginia Department of Highways. He was a member of the National Church of God.

Buck was a very generous man, known for his love of family and friends. He enjoyed and took pride in watching his nephew play sports, having a great sense of humor and helping his loved ones. Buck had a special place in his heart for the amazing staff at Evergreen that treated him like a family member.

He asked that a special mention be given of their compassion and excellent care. His infectious smile and loving heart will be missed and remembered by all who knew him. Friends may join the family to honor Buck’s life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave.

, Morgantown on Saturday, July 28th from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bill Page officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover, where Full Military Honors will be accorded at the graveside.
