Obituary for Bernard F. Reck Print Bernard F. Reck, 71, of East Greenville, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Treverton, he was a son of the late Francis B. and Gladys A. (Klemick) Reck. He proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force during Vietnam and was also a K-9 handler.

Bernie was a hairdresser for 47 years, working for Hair Cuttery in Conshohocken and previously owning and operating Head Hunters in East Greenville. He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Pennsburg. Surviving are his brother, Michael J. Reck and wife, Darlene of East Greenville; and his two sisters, Nancy A., wife of Thomas Fiorito of Macungie and Janet A., wife of Michael Macenka of Coplay.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041 with Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. A burial will follow with Military Honors in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg.
