OBITUARY Bernard H. Bender April 1, 1943 – October 30, 2018 BERNARD H. BENDER passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was 75. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Aberdeen for many years before moving to Somerset in 2011.

Prior to retiring in 2010, Mr. Bender was a Programmer for UPS, Morristown. He was predeceased by his wife Pauline, who passed away in 2000. Left behind to cherish his memory are his children Erika Kraemer of East Windsor and Craig Bender and his wife Dana of Manalapan, his sister Francine Kovel and her husband David of Overland Park, Kansas, his grandchildren Allison and Mike Kraemer and Jake and Emma Bender, and his significant other Judith Neiderman of Highland Park.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 11:00 am at Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan (for GPS directions, please use Englishtown, NJ 07726), followed by interment at Floral Park Cemetery, South Brunswick. Shiva will be observed at Craig and Dana Bender’s residence on Thursday following the burial until 8 pm, Friday from 2-5 pm, Saturday from 6:30-9 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm. Minyan will be held at 7 pm on Thursday and Saturday evenings.
