He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Myrtle Smiley; two children, Theresa Horkey (Chris) of Chesterfield, Bobby Smiley (Bobbie Jo) of Southill; sister, Jane Griffin of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Nash Bennett, Corey Bennett, Taylor Smiley and Gary Horkey. B.P. retired from Wilson Trucking after 47 years of service and was a Vietnam veteran.
