Bernice “Bee” Goretska, 76 of Webster City, died on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Van Diest Medical Center in Webster City. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Cass Center Cemetery. The family has chosen Boman Funeral Home (www.

bomanfh.com) to care for their needs. Bee was born on June 1, 1942, to Kendall and Effie May (Loughry) Schwiebert in the Hamilton County Hospital. She attended school in graduating from the Webster City High School.

Bee married… Read More » Robert Goretska on May 26, 1960, at St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Webster City. She was employed at Ukers Sewing Machine Shop. Bee was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Webster City where she was a part of the Ladies Aid and the Hand Bell Choir.

She enjoyed reading, embroidery, cooking, and baking. Bee’s family includes her husband Bob; daughter Gina Sue Ireland; four grandchildren Bethany (Brett) Nichols & Colton Ireland (fiancé Courtney Read); three great-grandchildren; 3 brothers-in-law; two aunts- two sisters; several nieces and nephew; and her friend/sister Kathy Pagel. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Rob, and her son-in-law Randy Ireland.
