OBITUARY Bernice Gottlieb January 9, 1929 – January 26, 2019 Bernice “Bea” Gottlieb (nee Shedroff) passed away peacefully on January 26, 2019 at the age of 90. She was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio on January 9, 1929 to the late Jacob and Sarah Shedroff. Bernice was the dearly beloved wife of the late Saul Gottlieb, her devoted partner of 62 years.

Loving mother of three committed sons, Jeffrey (Jodi) Gottlieb, Jerry (Susan) Gottlieb, and Alan (Lorin) Gottlieb, cherished grandmother of Jamie (Eric) Synenberg, Seth (Katie) Gottlieb, Arielle (David) Goler, Josh (Lindsey) Gottlieb, Jonathan (Joanna) Gottlieb, Jessica Gottlieb, Robyn (Dan) Brenner and Jordan Gottlieb. Adoring great grandmother of Ari, Noah and Asher Synenberg, Harper and Riley Gottlieb, Jacob Gottlieb, and Liam and Owen Brenner. Loving sister of David (Diane) Shedroff and Arthur (Sandra-deceased) Shedroff.

Funeral will be held on Sunday, January 27th at 12 p.m. at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz, 1985 South Taylor Rd, Cleveland Heights, 44118 with interment at Bet Olam Cemetery. Family will observe Shiva at the home of Jerry and Susan Gottlieb, 3930 Waterford Ct, Orange Village, 44122 following services on Sunday until 8 p.m., Monday 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday-Thursday 7-9 p.m. with daily minyan at 7 p.m. Friends who wish may contribute to the Gottlieb Family Holocaust Memorial Fund at B’nai Jeshurun, 271501 Fairmount Blvd, Pepper Pike, OH 44124. or the Survivors Initiative c/o The Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland (webcasting of service www.
