OBITUARY Bernice Marie Winch February 24, 1943 – September 8, 2018 A Funeral Mass for Bernice Marie Winch, 75, of Killeen will be 10:30 Friday September 14, 2018 at St Paul’s Catholic Church in Harker Heights. Bernice was born and raised in Ste. Genevieve MO, to Louis and Alice Weiler on February 24, 1943 and passed away September 8, 2018 in Temple, TX.

She met her husband, John R. Winch, in 1968 and married him November 15, 1969 in Ste. Genevieve. She gave birth to her one, and only, cherished daughter, Christy Turck in July of 1970.

She was a proud Army wife, traveling the world with her husband and daughter to many military installations. Once settled in Killeen, TX, she proudly worked as a kitchen manager for Killeen ISD for over 11 years. She then stopped working to pursue her proudest title: Nana.

Bernice is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Laverne Papin. She is survived by her husband, her daughter, her son-in-law Patrick Turck, her precious grandchildren, Deanna, Ryan, John, and Ashley Turck, her brother and his wife Joe and Therese Weiler, her brother-in-law Bob Papin, nieces, nephews, and many beloved friends. The family will receive visitors from 6-8pm Thursday September 13, 2018 with a Rosary at 7, at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.
