Bernice Hodge, loving mother and grandmother, died October 11, 2018 at the age of 93. Born Bernice Pauline Ludviksen on March 17, 1925 in Silverton, Oregon, she grew up in Silverton and moved to Portland after graduating from high school. She married Wayne Hodge on December 8, 1946, and together they had three sons, Robert, Richard and Roger.

Bernice was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Wayne in 2015; brothers, Lester Ludviksen and Harlow Ludviksen; and sisters, Lorraine Boyle and Joyce Hansen. She is survived by her sons, Robert, Richard and Roger and their wives; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Allen Ludviksen and Stanley Ludviksen; and many nieces and nephews.
