Obituary for Bertha ‘Bert’ (baker) Bell Bell, Bertha “Bert” (Baker) of Bloomington, passed away on September 18, 2018 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Eagan, MN at the age of 94. Bert was born in Greenport, NY on August 26, 1924. She graduated from Southold High School and moved to Minnesota to attend flight attendant school.

She met and married Kenneth Bell in 1950 and they enjoyed traveling together. Bert’s hobbies included reading, music, theatre, traveling and she was very proud of being from Long Island. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Irene (Sawyer) Baker; husband, Ken; her daughter, Barbara; and her son, Steven.

Bert is survived by her son, John; grandsons, Garrett, Spencer, and Mitchell (Shar); granddaughter, Jaime (Neitge); great-grand-daughter, Stella Belle; and daughter-in-law, Mary. She will be forever remembered as loving, caring, classy and will be missed. In keeping with Bert’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
