Bertie Hood August 28, 1942 – February 4, 2019 Bertie Crouch Hood, 76, was born August 28, 1942, to Thompson and Ida Mae Patton Crouch in Salt Lick, Kentucky. She entered into rest February 4, 2019, at her home in Cherokee Village, Arkansas. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: daughters, Lisa Perry (Robert Clark) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Lecinda “Cindy” Thomas (Jeremy) of Bowling Green, Kentucky; grandchildren: Amy Francis, Richard Schmitt, Matthew Clark, Chris Clark, Dalton Thomas, Kainin Thomas, and Kya Thomas; great-grandchildren: Stockton Crowe, Iris Crowe, and Noah Jacobs.

Bertie is also survived by brothers, Thomas Ray and Heartsell Crouch and special friend, Bert T Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Ida Marie Perry; sisters: Helen Crouch, Elizabeth Ferrell, Irene Mosteller, and Opal Saunders; her twin brother, Berthal Crouch; and brothers: Lyle, Stanley, Cecil, Charles, William, Donald, and Hobert Crouch. Bertie was a Kentucky Colonel and a retired machine operator with R. R. Donnelley & Sons Printing in Glasgow, Kentucky.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Powell Funeral Home in Salt Lick, Kentucky. Burial will be in the Upper Salt Lick Cemetery following the service.
