Obituary for Bessie Ann Perkins Bessie A. “B” Perkins Of Irwin, passed away quietly on April 14, 2018 at the Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg, PA. She was born on June 26, 1928 , daughter of the late John and Sarah Banjac Karanovich. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack P. Perkins; son, Jeffrey and siblings; Mary Karanovich, George Karanovich, Millie Karanovich Bozich, Don Karanovich, Josephine Karanovich Dvorsky, Rose Karanovich Lawrence, Sadie Karanovich Rahne and Albert Karanovich.

She is survived by daughters Kim Perkins, Susan Perkins and grandson Wm. Christopher Swan and is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. After raising her three children, she worked at Irene`s Gift shop in Irwin as the store manager.

She loved flower gardening, drawing, baking and power walking, preferably on the beach. After retiring “B”and her grandson, Chris, would spend their summers in Cape May NJ. until she was stricken with Dementia.

She never met a stranger that she didn`t like and never left the house without her lipstick on. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service and Celebration of Life luncheon at the Calvary church, 8653 Pennsylvania Ave, Irwin, Pa. 15642, at 2pm Sunday April 29th.
