OBITUARY Bessie Quaranta May 10, 1937 – January 31, 2019 Bessie (Phipps) Quaranta, 81, of Wethersfield, passed away at home with her family by her side. She was born in Bayboro, South Carolina to the late Julious and Bessie (Martin) Phipps and lived most of her life in Wethersfield with her late husband, Anthony Quaranta, where she raised her five children. She will forever be remembered by her children, Oksana Olijnyk and John Quaranta, both of Wethersfield, Elizabeth Motowidlak and her husband Bruce of Glastonbury, Nancy Winiarski, Katherine Martina and her husband Gerry all of South Carolina and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday (February 4) at 10:30 am at Christ the King Parish at Corpus Christi Church. D’Esopo Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with the final arrangements. For expressions of sympathy to the family, please visit www.
