(Beth) Louise Smith Behnert (Beth) Louise Smith Behnert returned to her Heavenly Father, Sunday May 5, 2019. She was born at home on September 10, 1939 in Evanston, Wyoming to her parents Claude Gerrard Smith and Myrtle Rollins Smith. She graduated from Evanston HS, attended BYU, Utah State and Weber State Universities receiving a bachelor’s & Master’s Degree.

Louise is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved researching her family history and helping others with their Genealogy. She served a church mission in Dallas, TX after she had retired from teaching school for 25 years in Ogden, Utah.

She also worked for several family owned businesses in Lyman, Wy; Ogden & Tremonton, UT. Louise loved to travel and see new places taking trips throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, Western & Eastern Europe, Israel and China on both cruise ships and land travel. She also loved family camping trips in Wyoming & Utah, especially Green River Lakes & the Uintah’s.

She also went on two camping trips across the country to visit family. She looked forward to annual family reunions where she played games, made quilts, and talked & laughed into the night. Louise is survived by her two daughters, Sandy Johnson Poll of Harrisville, UT and LeAnn Choate (Brian) Littledike of Richmond UT; three brothers and five sisters: Melvin C (Renita) Smith of Ogden, David L (Alice) Smith of Ogden, Robert R (Glenda) Smith of Layton, Janet R (John) Carlton of Las Vegas, Diana J Earnshaw of Ogden, Dorothy A Pitts of Lyman WY, Eileen M (Mel) Hale of Fairview, WY, and Carol G (Michael) Guymon of Washington Terrace, UT.

She has four grandchildren: Bryan D Jones, Matt S Jones, Carson C (Leni) Poll, and Jeni (Ever) Sevilla, a grand daughter-in-law, Colette (Casey) McKissen; ten great-grandchildren: Travis (Madelyn) Jones, Blake Jones, Brayson & Gaige McKissen, Cade, Cody & Dallas Poll, Jordan, Genesis & Rosalie Sevilla and 2 great-great grandchildren: Margo & Macie Jones. She is proceeded in death by parents, husbands Joe Johnson, Eugene Choate & Konstantin Behnert, and infant son, Gary Joe Johnson. Friends and family are invited to a viewing from 1pm – 2pm @ Richmond LDS 2nd Ward 100 E 150 S Richmond, UT (20 miles north of Logan) on Friday, May 10th.

Funeral Services will follow the viewing at 2:30pm (same location). Burial will be at Evanston (Wyoming) Cemetery on Saturday, May 11th with a graveside service @ 11am.
