Obituary for Bethel Burgess “Betty” Ray Mrs. Bethel “Betty” Ray left this world on January 12, 2019. She was 97 years old. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard K. “Jack” Ray, Sr. and son, James Scott “Mike” Ray.

She is survived by her son, Leonard K. “Buck” Ray, Jr. of Covington and daughters, Bethel R. Kersey (Leon) and Laura R. Guckert (Brian) of Chesapeake. She was Nana to nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and four great- great grandchildren. A graveside will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Alleghany Memorial Park with Rev.
