OBITUARY Bettie Bradberry April 7, 1929 – January 7, 2019 Bettie Jean (Woods) Bradberry, 89, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, January 10, 2019 in the pavilion at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park, Texas with Pastor Tim Franks, Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park, officiating. Services are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.

Bettie was born April 7, 1929 in Holliday, Texas to George and Marion (Ford) Woods. She married the love of her life, S.M. “Pete” Bradberry on August 24, 1946. She graduated from Draughon’s Business College.

Bettie was a member of the Eastern Star, enjoyed spending her time fishing and hunting, and loved her family dearly. Bettie is preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Weldon Lee Bradberry; granddaughter, Amy Leora Bradberry; brother, George Woods; and three sisters, Marion Gregg, Lou Campbell, and Kathleen Shook. Surviving relatives include her children, Jimmy Bradberry and his wife, Sue of Iowa Park; Shirley Bridwell and her husband, Buddie of Wichita Falls; and Evelyn McCrary of Ada, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, John and Lloyd Woods; and three sisters, Anna Dowell, Susie Beisch, and Carolyn Smith.

Memorials are suggested to be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310.
