OBITUARY Betty A King October 5, 1927 – September 8, 2018 Betty A. (Kelly) King, passed away peacefully September 8, 2018. Betty was born October 5, 1927, in Clay County, MO to Alvin R. Kelly and Mae E. (Vaughn) Kelly. She graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1945 and married, Clifford R. King, November 3rd, 1945.

Clifford passed November 30, 2005, they were married 60 years. Also preceded by parents and 1 sister, Lila Squire. Clifford and Betty had 1 son, Wendall R. (Pamela) King of Independence, MO, and two grandchildren, Jesse (Karen) King of Roeland Park, KS and children, Levi, Wyatt and Macy and Jamie King (Jude) Croyle of Blaine MN and children Brynja, Lars and Torben.

Betty was in Beta Sigma Phi Sorority since October 1963 to present. Betty retired from TRW Automotive in 1989, she was a member of the Red Cross and a Certified Member of her neighbor Crime Watch. She loved to fish, gardening and canning, and many crafts.

She will be missed by her friends and family. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Monday September 17, 2018 at White Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior at the funeral home.
