Shadwick, age 89, of Belton, Missouri, passed away at home on Sunday, March 17, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. A Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2019 followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Belton Assembly of God 613 E. North Ave. , Belton, Missouri 64012.

Interment will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery the following day. Betty was born on October 22, 1932 in Jefferson City, Missouri. Throughout Betty’s life she worked as a homemaker, taking care of her three children David, Eugene, and Holly.

Betty was also a faithful member of the Belton Assembly of God. Betty is preceded in death by her parents; son, Eugene Morell Shadwick; and brother, Robert Lee Steimentz. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Truman Shadwick; son David Shadwick; daughter Holly Loudermilk (Don); two grandchildren Brian Michael Shadwick (Felicia) and Mitchel Shadwick Loudermilk; and two great grandchildren, Elizabeth Shadwick and Brianna Shadwick.
