She was born October 13, 1930, in Union City, Ohio, the daughter of the late Leroy and Anna Fae (Turner) Teegarden. Betty married Richard Rolland Ellis on December 25, 1946, in Greenfield, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on February 28, 1997.
