Betty Black Sanders departed this life on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at her home in New Orleans, LA. She was 74 years old and a native of Plaquemines Parish. Daughter of the late Leonard and Grace Garrison Black.

Wife of Arnolie Sanders III. Devoted mother of Demetrius Sanders and the late Torranno Sanders. Stepmother of Stanford Sullen.

Step-Grandmother of Davontae and Mariah Sullen. Sister of Manuel (Bernice) Black, Gloria Smith and the late Gertie Black, Easter Hunter, Jake, Leonard, Issac, Lewis and Earl Black. Sister-in-law of Delores and Lavern Black and Hughes (Aunderlia) Sanders.

Godmother of Pamela Stewart. Deceased also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, September 15, 2015 at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 Hwy 23 Belle Chasse, LA 70037 at 10 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Rev.

Nadel Cosse’ officiating. Interment will follow in Dobard Cemetery Jesuit Bend, LA.
