OBITUARY Betty Chlebina September 17, 1930 – January 26, 2019 Betty Elizabeth Chlebina, age 88, passed away peacefully on January 26th. She was born in Blanchard, Michigan to Melvin and Fern Abbott. Betty is predeceased by her husband, George Chlebina; both parents; brother, Arden Abbott; and sister, Viola Pull.

Left to cherish her memory are sons, Dennis (Debbie) and Steven Michael Chlebina. Betty graduated from Lakeview High School. During her school years, she took up working on a potato farm.

Shortly after, she met her husband George at the VFW Hall in Edmore. They were marred on November 11th of 1950. In her later years, Betty kept busy sewing, crocheting, and caring for her family.
