Betty’s Obituary Betty D. Reaves 68 of Dumas departed this life December 21, 2018. She was born July 22, 1950 in Dumas and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Jo Ann Spivey Hawkins. Her parents, son, Larry Cantrell, Jr. and sister Margaret Culpepper all preceded her in death.

Betty was a member of First Assembly of God Church. A life time resident of Dumas, she was co-owner and business manager of Designer Ware with her husband. Betty enjoyed painting and crafts during her free time.

Survivors are her husband, Randy Reaves of Dumas, her children, Karen Word of Dumas, Steven Cantrell of Tyro, Lee Michael Dougan of Rohwer, Shea Dougan of Dumas, Julie Anne (Kyle) Williams of Lakin, Kansas, Step children, Steve (Lana) Reaves of Little Rock and Nick (Laura) Reaves of Sheridan, two sisters, Sandra Files and Michelle (Bobby) King all of Dumas, 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation held Saturday, December 22, from 4-6 pm at Griffin Funeral Home. Funeral Services held on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 2 pm, First Assembly of God Church with Rev.
